
Jennifer Grey, born March 26, 1960 in Los Angeles was an American actress. Her acting debut was with Reckless (1984) and she had her breakthrough in Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). She gained international fame for starring as Frances Houseman in the romantic drama film Dirty Dancing (1987), which was a winner of an Golden Globe Award nomination. Red Dawn (1984), The Cotton Club (1889), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989), Redbelt (2008) and Redbelt (2000) were other film features. Grey's work on television began with Murder in Mississippi (1990), Criminal Justice (1989) as well as If the Shoe Fits (2019). She also starred in the role of Kelly Carter in the comedy Red Oaks on Amazon Prime Video. Grey has also recorded voiceovers for film and television, including the 2018 film Duck Duck Goose and the animated TV series Phineas and Ferb in 2008.
